Fifteen years from seems like a long time. However, fifteen years from now I will be thirty. That isn't too long from now. When I think about it, I may be married by then. Who knows? I hope to be an outrider at a horse racetrack through my twenties, but when I am thirty, things will most likely change. I don't know if I will still be at the track by then. When I am thirty, I want to have a ranch and horses. I hope to have a nice place and be able to have animals. I want to run a boarding and lesson barn. It will help keep money flowing so I can keep the property. Most likely, I will be with a guy and he can help out around the farm. I plan on working hard from now until then to be able to live my dream and have the things I want to have when I'm older.

Predict I think that Marley will make Scrooge do the things Marley had to finish before he died. Marley may help Scrooge become happy again. He will help Scrooge change his reputation. Visualize Scrooge’s house is very dark and spooky. It is a lot like Scrooge himself. Scrooge is depressed and makes other people upset. Question Why is Scrooge always mad? Did Scrooge do something bad that makes him mad all the time? Who exactly was Scrooge married to? Connect I know some people who are depressed, just like Scrooge. They go into isolation, staying by themselves all the time. It ruins them and creates a bad life for them. Identify The author keeps the setting dark and a little scary. He brings out Scrooge’s personality and betrays him as a depressed old man. He does a good job of balancing action and detail. Infer I think that Scrooge became depressed and lonely after his partner died. I think he relied on Marley a lot while he was alive. Now, Scrooge needs to change his ways in order to live a happy life. Evaluate Scrooge is a difficult person to be around. He brings down everybody around him and he is mean to the people working for him. I would never want to be related to him. Initiation day was here. Today we would find out who was worthy of being in the fridge and who had to be thrown into the garbage. We all knew that the milk would pass the test, along with cheese and yogurt. But my family are cinnamon rolls. We are sugar foods and usually we don't stay long. I saw the wall open and a huge hand reached in, choosing who would die today. My mother was chosen first, disappearing into the dark underworld of food. My cousin was next. I knew I wasn't going to stay. The hand reached in, grabbing me around my waist and taking me into the uncharted territory. I saw the black hole of the universe and I was slowly moving toward it. White knifes came into view as I crossed the red line. I couldn't see anything. The knifes tore into me as I was lost to the universe forever.
I love to write intense stories. I am not very good with dialogue. Description is my stronger path in writing. I like to write dark stories, along with any that involve horses. Writing about dreams is fun for me. I love when I can picture the whole story in my head before I write it. It helps me keep the story flowing and organized.
Tonight was the night. I would be adopted by a little kid who would love me forever. It seemed as though I was the only one in the adoption center that was excited about today. Everyone was sad and mourned all day.
"Steven, there's something you need to know," my mother had said on adoption day. "Adoption day isn't exactly a good day." "What do you mean?" I asked her, my happiness flowing out of me, replaced by a blank look on my wrapper. "Those candies that got adopted were loved at first, but they were murdered," my mother explained, a tear ran down her crease onto another Snickers below us. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe what she had just said. Murdered, I thought. That was horrible! How could these innocent humans to this to our family? A woman human picked up our house and took us to the entrance of the adoption building. It's time, I thought. I made my way to the bottom of the bowl, pushing through all types of candy. I could hear children getting closer. We all get tossed around, flipping us over and forcing me to the surface. A huge girl grabs me, undressing me. That was the last I saw of my family. I love to read intense stories. They are interesting to me and keep me reading. I like humor, romance and stories about animals as well. Action stories are my favorite to write. They are the easiest to keep flowing for me. I love to write stories that I would read more than once. I try to use lots of metaphoric language so as to be descriptive without listing all the details. I try to paint a picture more than tell a story. I love darker stories when I write and read. Overall, I love to write stories and read dark stories, along with comedy.
Painfully, he changed “is” to “was.”
This six word story is very intense. It could be taken many ways, but I think it explains how somebody close to him and he lost them. The way the author worded it gives us a dark, mysterious take to the sentence. Slowly, I sunk into the darkness. ![]() Love is the key. I'm not talking about giving somebody part of your lunch or complimenting people. I'm talking about genuine love. The kind that you will remember forever. Enjoy life and keep a positive attitude. If you care for others, they will care for you. Dogs practice this all the time. When we look at people, we think, Why do they act like this to each other? If they would just love each other like dogs do, their lives would work out easier. Dogs are smarter when it comes to actions. We think about the results of an action before we do it. People are very foolish when it comes to actions. They don't care about whether or not they get hurt. |
